I have been painting for over 20 years and have explored many different styles of painting but always tend to come back to a style full of patterns, lines, and blocks of colour.
Fascinated by patterns, I see them all around me - in nature, such as feathers on a bird or the underside of a portobello mushroom, and also manmadee patterns such as tyre treads, city maps, or metal fencing.
I like to explore shapes using a concise colour palette, and let the image grow as I continue to work. Recently I've developed my own painting technique which you can see in Blue Supernova and other pieces.
I love it when people tell me what they see in my work as often it is something I hadn’t even thought of.
My main aim is to create art that gets people talking, so I’m looking forward to the conversations ahead.
