Many thanks to artists and bidders alike for their contributions and assistance with our 2024 online auction in aid of The Upper Room. The final payments are all now accounted for, and we raised £4,426 in total. What a fantastic result!
We were able to make most of our donation to The Upper Room through The Big Give scheme which doubled the sum raised on Jumblebee, and were delighted to be able to give the charity £3,546 towards its UR4Driving scheme. (The 'cheque' in the image says slightly less because of a late donation.)
Artists chose to give either 50% or 100% of the proceeds raised by their donated piece of art, and we are grateful to all our members who gave to this local cause. They received £879.78 from the auction proceeds between them.
We are also grateful to local estate agents Horton and Garton, and local online media chiswickw4.com and The Chiswick Calendar, amongst others, for their publicity support.
