Naila was born in 1981 and grew up in Baku, Azerbaijan, where she gained Bachelor's and Master's degrees in fine art.
Her work is very personal, alive and intimate. Naila's comprehensive training, coupled with her natural talent and craftsmanship, gives her a great versatility and scope for invention and play in the different media she works in.
Naila took part in Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year 2020.
Naila was awarded the Lyon and Turnbull Award 2021. She has exhibited in Figurative Art Now with Mall Galleries, the Royal Scottish Academy 2021, the Royal Society of Portrait Painters 2020, the New English Art Club 2020, the Society of Women Artists 2020, the Royal Institute of Oil Painters 2020, and Royal Society of British Artists 2020.
Naila can organise private studio visits by appointment with safe distances.
