Painting

Alicia Stroud studied in Florence, Italy and then attended Wimbledon School of Art where she obtained her MA in printmaking.

Her recent oil paintings and her many drawings are inspired by her travels and visits to galleries and museums .

Mythology and the fantastical are recurring motives in her ceramic work.
Her portraits are an exploration into the use of coloured inks and different drawing materials to depict facial expressions and atmosphere .
And her collages explore a variety of realistic and semi abstract compositions using torn and cut out papers.

Her delightful greeting cards are unique and all are hand painted.
