My practice is inspired by discarded materials in our urban environment. 

An awareness of these materials is connected to an experimental approach giving the outcome an element of chance.

Old industrial sanding belts have been a great inspiration, using a variety of mediums and techniques to alter the surface to create wall based sculptures.

More recent works are circular graphite finger paintings done on low-grade protective flooring card. The outcome of these are dictated by my arm length and movements, the result of a private performance.
