Photography, printmaking
Anna takes her images with a range of cameras that can be film (with a large wooden camera) or digital.
Anna's images range from elements of either townscapes to landscapes. They comprise mainly singled out portions or parts which capture her imagination. They are elements that are often overlooked in the wider view, but their lack of context makes you stop and look. And, therein, break away from the constant bombardment of the modern world, giving space to contemplate.
Anna prints her smaller images herself, either digitally or using an alternative process called photopolymer or photogravure. The latter process is in itself more contemplative as it is an intaglio process, involving printing the image from a plate, inking it and running it through a printing press.
