My artwork is abstract, instinctually led, and very much related to a sense of movement since I am a choreographer and I was a professional dancer. In my work on paper, canvas and other, I enjoy working in every medium including oils, inks, acrylics, watercolours, pastels, chalk, and pencils in my pieces. Currently, I mainly use watercolours, but I paint with them as if they were acrylics, so the outcome is not what one expects with watercolours. The collages and assemblages I create are fanciful, colourful, and quirky and made from collected objects and images. My photography has ranged from Instant to Kodak film, to handmade black and white prints, to the digital world and encompasses many subjects. As a daughter of a well- known photographer, photography is in my blood, and I photograph on a daily basis; a great deal of dance and nature, and I am always on the lookout for a special moment. My 'omemade kards have been in circulation for decades and my eclectic creative portfolio extends over four decades.
I try to find the beauty of life, surprises, humour, and the unique and abstract in everything. Inspiration and guidance have always come from the following: nature, dance, environment, simplicities that surround me, quality of light, shadows, reflections, dances of light and shadow, movement in light and shadows, and wonderment.

Please note: Reproductions of all photographs and paintings are on offer. These can be ordered and delivered to people's homes at a time convenient to each person. An order sheet will be available at the AAH Open Studios weekend and sizing can be altered to suit. Frames can also be made to suit individal requrements. This can also be done all year long via the AAH website and purchases of any current 'omemade kards from the latest series can be arranged.
A portion of any sales (excepting the two Ukrainian Social Club photos) will go to Registered Charity Number 1172264 Move into Wellbeing.
Any sales of the photographs of the Ukrainian Social Club performers will go directly to the Ukrainian Social Club of Twickenham.
