Roz's interests are in the thrown form, influenced by the brutalist shapes of Hans Coper's ceramics. Roz's exploration of colour originated in memories of summer holidays in Cadaques, Spain, where the beauty of the turquoise green sea in the summer sun is so striking. She enjoys exploring different processes including raku, saggar, smoke and Anagama firing. Roz also enjoys collaborating with other artist. Her ongoing project entitled 'My Friends and I' is a collection of collaboratons with local artists/painters where she has invited artists to paint moonjars that she has lovingly made. She will then glaze the pieces. To date the project has involved collaborations with 11 artists. Roz set up and runs the Ceramics Department of Chiswick Art School, running a variety of pottery courses. Her interests are in the thrown form, Her work has been displayed in several galleries in London, Brighton and Kent.
