I studied at Wimbledon School of Art and Central St Martin's.

At present I am working on a series of drawings and paintings based on reinterpreting works from the Masters in the National Gallery and museums in Italy.

Images are like living beings; when I work I try to be aware of the moment when an image appears as a presence in its own right.

Making art is about tapping into the power of your materials, figuring out what they want to do and welcoming the surprises that occur along the way. As a result some of my work hovers between description and abstraction I think that there has to be a space for imagination in all art.
