I am an abstract artist originally from South Africa. I moved to London 20 years ago, where I have lived ever since. My artistic journey began at a young age in an art school in Cape Town. Later, while living in London, I developed my graphics, web design, and interior design skills.

My diverse background in painting, drawing, sculpting, mixed media, and textiles fuels my work, which vibrantly expresses energy. The best pieces often emerge when I trust my intuition and allow the creative process to flow naturally. I use multiple layers, textures, and vibrant colours to create a sense of joy and upliftment. I have recently been drawn to working with muted colours, appreciating the sense of control they bring to my art. 

My artistic inspiration stems from both nature and the complexities of human experiences and emotions. I truly understand the beauty that comes from expressing feelings through art. I enjoy crafting abstract pieces that blend elements of the natural world with various emotions, as they can resonate with many experiences and connect with those who view them. Additionally, I have developed a passion for writing about my art, as it serves as a meaningful form of expression in its own right.

I am studying for a degree in Psychology and planning to use it combined with art to help people have a more positive experience and outlook on life. My art is a visual experience and a tool for promoting positivity and optimism in those who view it.
